2006 Tip #1:
Fresh Starts

Is it too late to say “Happy New Year?”

Has the holiday’s spirit and good cheer and good wishes faded a bit already?

Hopefully not for you!

Well, of course, we’re back to work – or back to school – or back to some “regular routine.”  Is there some way, however, that we’re making that “regular routine” a bit different, a bit fresher, a bit better?

Why not hold on to the sense of possibilities and new opportunities that come with the New Year?  Let’s hold on to that good will of the holiday season.  Let’s keep looking for the opportunities that “fresh starts” in a New Year offer us!

I hope you had a good set of holiday’s, got a good break from last year’s “regular routine” and absorbed the energy and inspiration that come with a “birth of hope.”

As we plan goals for the week’s ahead, let’s maintain the sense of the freshness of this New Year’s outlook.  We can improve our “routines” and our health and our general outlook on all we’re doing.  One step at a time –with no regrets or frets looking backwards.

This Chinese proverb comes to mind as I look forward to 2006---

The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago.

The next best time to plant a tree is today.

It’s never too late for fresh starts!

“Happy and Healthy New Year to us all !”
