2005 Tip #22:
A Hearty and Healthy
Thank you”!

What a special time of the year! Thanksgiving is at the top of my list for meaningful holidays. As the year winds to a close, we can take time out—we need some space for rest and reflection.

Whatever progress we’ve made towards the goals we set out in the beginning of the year, we can be thankful for so many things in our lives. Whatever setbacks we have had, let’s strive to look at the positives.

The combination of giving and being thankful is powerful. We each have so many gifts to share.

Two thoughts in this regard:

“Neglect not the gift within thee.”—I Timothy 4:14

“You have something to give. Give it!”—Kobi Yamada *

Giving is healthy and makes the heart happy. And, saying “thank you” for all the good things in our lives is good for the heart and is healthy!
